Laminated colour reproduction of watercolour "The Homestead" in Wilson Creek painted by Chas. Murray depicting a log cabin, a dog (or cat?) and the yard around the cabin. 12.5" x 15". On the back is a crest for M Studio with the stamp "Paintings and Landscapes, flowers and historical sites of B.C. by Charles and Alice Murray displayed at our studio on Ratcliffe Road in Selma Park on the Sunshine Coast. Ph: 885-9562. Charles, originating from the North of England studied with Fred Varley and J.W.G. Macdonald of the Group of Seven. Alice with Petley-Jones, R.S.
